China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) on Tuesday handed over 110,000 U.S. dollars' worth of medical equipment to Sudan's Al Birr and Al-Tawasul Organization (BTO). The CFPA donation, including 12 sets of portable ultrasound diagnostic scanners, infant incubators, stainless-steel sterilizer and 500 pieces of solar and hand-winding electric charged torch- radios. |

Awiel town, north Bahr Al-Ghazal state, represents a symbol of a unified Sudan for its population and tribal interrelation. It is the melting pot of all Sudanese. This town brought back 20-years memories to the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omar Al-Bashir, when he was an officer in the army before the National Salvation Revolution broke out. |

The National Elections Commission (NEC) chief Abel Alier met today with Veronique De Keyser, the head of the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) to Sudan. The NEC deputy Abdallah Ahmed Abdallah said that the meeting tackled joint cooperation between the two sides. |

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Muawiya Osman Khalid, has belittled the effect of the step adopted by the US administration for alleviating the restrictions imposed on Sudan with regard to benefiting from the services offered by Google and Microsoft. He said in a statement to the press Wednesday that this step is not of a big impact. |
