After three-month delay, the EU's mission to Chad and the Central African Republic began full deployment on February 12.The EU's largest military mission in Africa to date is tasked with protecting refugees from the Darfur crisis and improving the stability of one of Africa's most conflict-prone regions. However, the mission faces serious challenges that undermine its chance's of success. |
