President Omer Al-Bashir, has praised the efforts exerted by the special envoy of the UN Secretary General, Ashraf Qazi, for supporting the peace process in Sudan and implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).

This came when President Al-Bashir received Ashraf Qazi Sunday at the Guest House on the occasion of expiry of his office term in Sudan which lasted for three years.

Qazi expressed his appreciation of the welcome and the assistance accorded to him by the Sudanese officials and people in carrying out his mission in Sudan.
