According to news reports the Juba forces alliance has strongly attack the National Elections Commission (NEC) accusing it of siding with the National Intelligence and Security Services (NSIS) and involvement in intelligence activities.

The alliance rapped the NEC for issuing unfair circular with regard opportunities for candidates in the state media, a call turned down by the NEC.

Despite that fact that it is too late now to ask for the redistribution of the constituencies or population census, the NEC can flexibly and neutrally handle the issue in contention through adhering to the principles or compromise with parties concerned.

Presumably, since the start of the electoral process, Juba Forces Alliance found themselves not well prepared for the elections race, which will definitely lead to failure to acquire the confidence of the voters in the upcoming elections.

Hence, the alliance in question found itself between the hammer and hard rock as to settling on a joint nominee for contesting the Presidential seat, as the DUP led by Al-Mirghani demonstrated refusal to withdraw the party's candidate in favour of SPLM candidate (Arman), and that PCP led by Dr. Turabi also hinted at reluctance to withdraw its candidate.

Such rift within Juba Forces Alliance signals a clear indication to the voters that the alliance, with such differences, proves unqualified to lead the nation.

Sudan is heading towards a new era, which requires professional political players with standard political morals able to contribute to national work instead of voicing revenge by the opposition, who likely to lose the presidential race as they sound more sentimental than practical and trust worthy to lead the nation.
