With the approaching date of referendum and raising voices of separation in south Sudan by influential leaders of Sudan People's Liberation Movement SPLM, accompanied by delivery of 11 military aircrafts to Sudan People's Liberation Movement/ Army by KAZAN a biggest deal in its kind with estimated commission.
Members of the high committees for the referendum in south Sudan were sworn in Juba before the Chairman of the Commission for the Referendum, Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Kahlil.Prof. Khalil said that the oath taking is tthe actual beginning of the referendum which is part of the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
President Omer Al-Bashir, announced that the government campaign for the referendum will be launched from south Sudan in accordance with the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) which stipulated that the two partners of the agreement shall work for the unity of Sudan.
The government has assigned a sum of 1.9 billion dollars for implementing developmental projects in the three Darfur states.Meanwhile, a meeting of the higher committee for implementation of Darfur peace strategy, chaired by the Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha.
